Finally spring!

This winter, we had a proper winter, with lots and lots of snow, the last of which melted away just a few days ago. It's been quite cold, so the spring flowers have been hesitating, but now they've finally turned up!

Odd skies

On my way home yesterday, I found the sky looking a bit odd, with the sun barely shining through what appeared to be two different layers of clouds. So far, I'm fairly impressed with the camera in my mobile - it has zoom and adjustable aperture or whatever the mobile equivalence is, meaning I can adjust how light/dark a picture will be.

Coffee machine

Recently, after the coffee machine at work had been serviced, there had been something added to it. Curious, I lifted the metallic coffee cup to read the wooden label beneath it, and it turns out that the company we rent the machine from climate compensate for all the electricity that is used for operating the machine. Very cool idea, I think!

My old mobile

Now retired after long and faithful duty. Actually, scratch that, it turns out my mother is willing to adopt it.
